Finals Results   Preliminary Results   Team Scores

Eleven TNT swimmers competed at the 2018 Alabama High School Swimming and Diving Championships, held November 30 thru December 1, at Auburn University.  TNT swimmers had an outstanding meet, with the Spanish Fort HS Girls Team and the Daphne High School Boys Team, winning the 6A-7A Runner-up Team Championship Trophies.

TNT swimmers were led by Trey Sheils and Letitia Sim, who combined for 7 first place finishes and 4 All - Time State Records, 5 State 6A-7A Records, and were part of 3 winning relay teams.

























Trey Sheils, a Daphne HS junior, was a 4 time State Champion at the meet. Trey set two All - Time State Records in the 100 breaststroke.  During prelims he went 55.39 and in finals 55.34. His time of 1:51.13 in the 200 IM was a new 6A7A State Record. Trey's times in the 100 breaststroke was an Automatic All - American qualifying times, and his 200 IM qualified for All - American consideration. Trey was also a member two Daphne High School first place relay teams, including the 200 Medley Relay (6A7A State Record) and 400 Freestyle Relay.

Letitia Sim, a sophomore at Spanish Fort HS, also had a great meet, including 3 first place and 1 third place finish.  Letitia won both of her individual events, setting All Time and 6A-7A State records in the 200 IM (2:01.64), and in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.64).  Both times were Automatic All - American Times.  Letitia was also a member of the first place Spanish Fort HS Girls 200 Medley Relay, which was composed of all TNT swimmers (Levenia Sim, Letitia Sim, Kristin Stough, Alyssa Dennis).  Letitia was also a member of the 3rd place SFHS Girls 400 Freestyle Relay team. 

Levenia Sim, a 7th grade student at Spanish Fort Middle School, also competed well.  Her relay lead off time of 26.93 in the 50 backstroke was a new Southeastern Record in the 11 - 12 girls age group.  Levenia also finished 4th place in the 100 fly, 6th place in the 100 back, and was a member of the SFHS first place 200 medley relay.

Meagan Furman, 200 free relay 3rd, Neely Hegan, 200 free relay 3rd, 100 breast 9th, 400 free relay 8th; Letitia Sim, 200 medley relay 1st, 200 IM 1st, 100 breast 1st, 200 free relay 3rd; Levenia Sim, 200 medley relay 1st, 100 fly 4th, 100 back 6th; 400 free relay 8th; Kristin Stough, 200 medley relay 1st, 200 free relay 3rd, 400 free relay 8th.
